      Jane L. Alexander, of Revere, a longtime employee of the Christian Science Publishing Co., passed away on Monday at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Brighton of injuries suffered in a Massachusetts Turnpike automobile accident Friday night.
      Ms. Alexander, the publishing company's supervisor of benefits and compensation, was active in theater groups in the Boston area for many years.
      She was born in Chelsea and lived most of her life in Revere. She was active in the First Church of Christ Scientist in Chelsea and the Mother Church in Boston.
      Ms. Alexander leaves her son Philip R. Alexander, daughter Leslie Russell, parents Philip and Alice Achenbach, and sisters Phyllis Mortelli and Maxine Publicover, all of Revere.
      Services will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow at the Pike and Vertuccio Funeral Home, 305 Beach, Revere. Interment will be at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, West Peabody.
