      Raymond Dickey
      Raymond Dickey son of Mr and Mrs James Dickey who live on Newport road, was killed Sunday at Boston being crushed between cars while about his work as brakeman on the Boston and Maine railroad. He was 32 years old. The remains were brought to Pittsfield and the funeral was held Thursday afternoon. He was in the U S Navy during the World war and was member of the American Legion and of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen. Mr Dickey is survived by a wife and two small children, by his father and mother, and by four brothers and three sisters. Three of the members of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen accompanied the body to Pittsfield and attended the funeral. Rev. Walter Quarrington, pastor of the Baptist church, officiated. The bearers were Halver Prescott, Clifford Staples, Frank A Heseltine and Merton Larrabee. The remains were placed in the receiving tomb at the village cemetery and will be interred in the family lot later.
